Fetal Doppler Monitor

The best way to feel even closer to your unborn baby is to hear his or her heart beat while in the womb. To do this, you use a Fetal Doppler Monitor to listen the little heart beating. When you get your first ultrasound, you get to see your baby for the first time. While having your ultrasound, the nurse probably let you hear the heart beating for the first time also. It is an amazing experience to hear the heart beat while the baby is inside the womb. Instead of only being able to hear this while you are visiting the doctor, you can hear your baby’s heart while at your home. There are many varieties of a Fetal Doppler, and the one you will choose will depend on how far along you are with your pregnancy. You will need a better doppler the earlier you are in the pregnancy. When you are at the doctor’s listening to your baby’s heart, they have a high powered ultrasound machine that turns movement into sound. Most fetal dopplers will be amplifying sound, which is much different from what your doctor used. So if you are early in your pregnancy and want to hear your little one’s heart beat, you will need a good quality fetal doppler to pick up the beat. There are dopplers that will let you record the heart beat, and you can then use it to send to family and friends with an email. With a fetal doppler monitor, you can also hear your baby hiccup during the late periods of pregnancy. It will sound like a fast double beat, and you can tell the difference between the baby’s regular heart beat. So keep in mind, not all fetal doppler monitors are created equally. Some will detect the babies heart beat better than others, especially when the pregnancy is in the early stages.
